He illustrated his first self-published children’s book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, in 2008, and the follow-up book, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes, in 2011. 遠遠低於預期，小到小孩子手掌大小，紙質印刷也沒有什麼好的，難道所有英文版都貴？可我以前也買過很多並非如此……這次如果不是用券（用瞭也不值），真要退瞭不可……曆史上少有的差評！

難度有點大，買早瞭，而且孩子也不喜歡這套。熊貓那本對我傢來說，難度大瞭，本來是想去動物園前先認識認識買的。不過跟同係列其他讀本看，這個分級還是不錯。

很小的書，感覺不太全，一盒12冊，大概隻介紹三個音標，比如:一本就專講長音a，一盒至少三本講長音a，一盒書12本，就共介紹3個音標，英語一共有48個國際音標，得要買好幾盒纔講解完。
