評分##piebald, twin swans, and blanc de blanc — 這些小心思和小伏筆真是so exquisitely-executed, just like the murder. 那種近乎偏執的繁復環境描寫（這纔是真的可以讓人按圖索驥在倫敦逛一個月的書吧！）和復古人物刻畫（不管多minor的角色都要認真寫上一頁）裏無與倫比的實感真的可以讓人原諒（甚至愛上）謀殺發生前的三百頁，而後三百頁就太太好看瞭。也依舊沒忘記作為係列核心的social commentary，把左右兩頭從上到下都罵瞭一通，Izzy的那種“善良的虛僞”塑造得也太好瞭。各種隱秘的心理活動絕對滿分：采訪是一麵，另一麵robin和cormoran的互動就讀得滿臉姨母笑哈哈哈，再不發生點啥????立馬下單book 5!
評分##It took me 2 months to finish reading this book. It is a long story with very complicated plot. The language is good as usual, but the mystery itself is not as gripping as I’d expected it to be.

評分越寫越長…開局一憨人，後邊全靠聊，現場證據幾乎為零，全靠訪談和推測人物關係，具體方法在於竊聽、激怒和討好客戶，以便得到對辦客戶的案子有利的消息——權貴階級真是矯情。羅賓shithole婚姻讓我莫名共情，她於徹底疲憊失意之時想起Blanc de Blanc是全書最佳段落，超越瞭推理作品，羅琳突圍。同是糟糕童年，有人成為光明，有人墮入黑暗，斯特萊剋可沒有什麼製度化的同情，命運理所當然假定被握在人自己手中。中譯本必須把put horse翻成“放馬”，不然我是不答應的！每本書引文都為我種草，這次打算去讀羅斯莫莊
