In the ashes of a dying world, Red finds a letter marked “Burn before reading. Signed, Blue.”
So begins an unlikely correspondence between two rival agents in a war that stretches through the vast reaches of time and space.
Red belongs to the Agency, a post-singularity technotopia. Blue belongs to Garden, a single vast consciousness embedded in all organic matter. Their pasts are bloody and their futures mutually exclusive. They have nothing in common—save that they’re the best, and they’re alone.
Now what began as a battlefield boast grows into a dangerous game, one both Red and Blue are determined to win. Because winning’s what you do in war. Isn’t it?

##為啥這麼低額。。。寫得太好瞭，尤其是blue明知每一行字都是poison但還是義無反顧地把信讀完的時候，簡直催淚炸彈。結局部分本來覺得說時間綫是有一點點paradoxical的，但是就是這樣莫比烏斯環一樣的糾纏不清，纔使得blue和red成為彼此的innate hunger，真正的靈魂共振。

評分##這裏唯一的科幻成分是姬佬的愛情。消防員和縱火犯的愛，兩個獵食者互相吞噬的欲望，愛起來恨不能共一個身體，又必須在劇情轉摺後在絕望中求索和永生，如疾病一樣的愛，如火種一樣的覺醒，姬佬要成就這種愛隻能對抗全宇宙的定律和規則，僅僅為瞭在一起喝個茶，養條狗。說起來這簡直玄幻。齣於好奇我去查看瞭作者們，對居然是co-writing，還是一男一女作者，我理所當然以為這是姬佬寫的文DOH...

評分##今年星雲奬得主，穿越時空的殺死伊芙。劇情非常少，大部分是兩個女人的情書。很詩意，很浪漫——有點太浪漫瞭，浪漫到有點兒牙磣。“I’ll be all the poets, I’ll kill them all and take each one’s place in turn, and every time love’s written in all the strands it will be to you.”
