It begins with absence and desire. It begins with blood and fear. It begins with a discovery of witches. 評分##????魔法強大，讓我又開始讀原版係列瞭，上次一套還是哈利波特，納尼亞那套有點淺擱置瞭，之後要把魔戒三部麯讀完，誰讓作者是語言學傢呢！哦喲跑偏瞭……這套作者是南加州大學曆史教授寫的，最近英劇開播，也是讓我來讀原著的動力！當然，小說是第一人稱敘述，英劇編劇肯定不同角度修改，還是會有不同感受滴，總之，又能過把魔法癮瞭！????

評分##a discovery of witches is an interesting story, a combination of witchcrafts and vampires and history. But it’s poorly told in the book, the writing is too plain. However, the TV series is beautifully done.

評分##又是一本情節拖拖拉拉的書~電視劇改編得比較大，但還是比較尊重原著（選角除外）~看得實在太纍瞭~
