雖然平時沒什麼時間看但是這本書的評價已經證明瞭它是值這個價值的

　　而平剋在書中則花瞭很多筆墨去論證天生語法知識的存在。我認為他的論證可以分成幾類：1、語言普遍性論證 2、輸入貧乏論證 3、生理基礎論證

　　字串模型將單詞看作是生成句子的基本媒介（media）。贊同字串模型的語言心理學傢認為，人類語言就是基於人腦中的巨大字串。當人造齣第一個單詞之後，這個單詞又會刺激人的大腦，讓人做齣反應，從而造齣下一個單詞。語言心理學傢認為，每當受試聽到一個單詞，都會想到其他與之相關聯的單詞，可以通過實驗來計算單詞與單詞之間的關聯程度，這稱為“轉接或然率”（transition probability）。但是，平剋認為，這個模型存在著幾個重要的睏難。
