评分##为世界经济与政治的解读开了一个很高的视角，尤其是作者单独著书阐释的债务周期理论，重塑了我对很多问题的认识。关于中国及总体未来展望的部分可信度会低一些，一个是比起美国，作者难以避免的语言与社会隔离，一个可能是对比上世纪荷兰与英国，周期已经盖棺论定，而对正在发展的事件强行带入公式难以避免的偏差，作者对此有很诚恳的免责声明，“要看方法而非结论”。

评分##Never thought china’s history line can be told by a foreigner cleanly and concisely, Some part of the book can not be published in China , always the right choice to read the original one. I am fond of my country and hope younger one can relate to it. Give huge credit to the author for his broad and depth understanding and accumulations
