林舒（Shu Lin）教授是IEEE的Life Fellow，先後承擔過IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INFORMATION THEORY的主編和ISIT會議主席和IEEE信息論協會的主席，主持瞭多項美國國傢科學基金研究項目及其它項目。林舒教授的研究方嚮有代數編碼、編碼調製、差錯控製係統、衛星通信等。
