Theodor Seuss Geisel - better known to millions of his fans as Dr. Seuss is quite simply the most beloved children’s book author in the world.

Brilliant, playful, and always respectful of children, Dr. Seuss charmed his way into the consciousness of four generations of youngsters and parents. In the process, he helped millions of kids learn to read.

Dr. Seuss was born Theodor Geisel in Springfield, Massachusetts, on March 2, 1904. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1925, he went to Oxford University, intending to acquire a doctorate in literature.

Geisel published his first children's book, And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, in 1937, after 27 publishers rejected it.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1984, an Academy Award, three Emmy Awards, three Grammy Awards, and three Caldecott Honors, Geisel wrote and illustrated 44 books. The stubborn refusal of the unnamed character, followed by his eventual enjoyment, is a funny and relatable lesson. 總的來說還不錯。這本書的質量很不錯，字體大小適中。很適閤親子閱讀。這種書要是裝訂成冊就更好瞭，一是三百多頁的書拿起來確實太重瞭，裝訂成小冊拿起來就方便瞭，孩子喜歡，齣門的時候也可以挑選一本閱讀。所以，我還是更喜歡裝訂成冊的套書。
