内容简介

2005年底，我们影印出版了由美国夏威夷大学段三复教授整理修订的著名理论物理学家Sakurai的遗著《现代量子力学（第2版）》，1994年修订版。这部量子力学的精品教材以其简洁、独特的写作风格闻名于世。由于它的内容选取、讲授深度、设定的读者对象与我国理工科研究生基础理论课《高等量子力学》相吻合，因此我们强烈地向读者作了推荐。该书影印出版后，受到了读者的普遍欢迎。前不久，有幸见到了湖南大学物理系刘全慧教授的一篇博文《读一部高等量子力学著作，享一段快意人生》。该文评价Sakurai的《现代量子力学（第2版）（影印版）》精妙之处在于“抓住了量子力学的灵魂”，对书中关于对称性的处理方法大为赞赏。文中谈到他在网上调研结果，美欧大学物理系研究生高量课程教师中，推荐使用该书的比例超过80%。此外，文中也指出了该版的一些不足之处。

这本书真是难得，大多数高量书都是先介绍一大堆希尔伯特空间和狄拉克符号，那几个基本假设在第二章列出来，讨论一下，然后在讨论应用及对称性分析，这样当然是正统做法。
