內容簡介

　　《曼斯菲爾德莊園》是簡·奧斯汀的代錶作之一。以男女青年的戀愛婚姻為題材，但是本書情節更為復雜，突發性事件更加集中,社會諷刺意味也更加濃重。小說最後以範妮和埃德濛的美滿姻緣為結局,但在故事發展的過程中,作者的諷刺筆鋒主要指嚮瞭以幾戶富足人傢為代錶的英國上流社會,揭示瞭他們的矯揉造作和荒唐可笑。
