　　清宫旧藏《鸟谱》，计十二册，其一至四册在1948年随清宫大批珍贵文物，被蒋介石国民政府运至台湾，目前保存在台北故宫博物院；第五至十二册收藏于故宫博物院。据《石渠宝笈续编》记载：《鸟谱》共收录鸟类三百六十一种，是由乾隆朝画院供奉余省和张为邦依内府旧藏蒋廷锡图本摹绘而成。《故宫经典：清宫鸟谱》是其中一本，体现出清代宫廷绘画的审美、技法与表现特色；傅恒等军机大臣进行的考证，也体现出清代朴素生物学的观察、思维与表达特征。无论从宫廷绘画史，或是古代科技史角度判断，《鸟谱》的意义都不可低估。
